Haverhill, MA – Parker Hannifin Corporation, the world leader in motion and control technologies, has introduced the Balston® SOURCE-LCMS-5000, a visually integrated and functionally modular LC/MS gas generation system which produces nitrogen, zero air and exhaust pump gases.
This system produces nitrogen, zero air and pump exhaust air by utilizing a combination of a compressor with filtration, catalysts and membrane separation technologies. A whisper quiet integrated low-maintenance non-piston reliable compressed air supply is filtered by high efficiency coalescing filters remove all contaminants down to 0.01 micron. Hollow fiber membranes subsequently divide the clean air into a concentrated nitrogen stream and oxygen enriched permeate stream, which is vented from the system. The zero air is produced by catalytically combusting hydrocarbons. A passive hollow-fiber dehydration membrane is used to create the exhaust pump gas.
